De wijn is afkomstig uit het uiterste zuiden van Cataloni. De wijnstokken staan in het wijngebied Priorat aangeplant. Het is een krachtige wijn, maar toch ook elegant. Mas Blanc is een zijtak van het grote wijnbedrijf Pinord, wat gevestigd is in Vilafranca del Penedes. Van origine produceerde dit huis enkel Cava, de beroemde mousserende wijn die de wereld inmiddels heeft veroverd.
